diff\u00e9rents de math\u00e9matiques. Le premier sujet de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve de maths du concours e3a est obligatoire pour tous les candidats. Le second n&rsquo;est pas utilis\u00e9 par toutes les \u00e9coles. Par exemple, les candidats \u00e0 Polytech ne passent pas cette \u00e9preuve.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">Les \u00e9preuves de maths du concours E3A n&rsquo;\u00e9valuent pas les m\u00eames comp\u00e9tences.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">L&rsquo;\u00e9preuve de maths I est organis\u00e9e pour les MP, PC et PSI le 16 mai 2017, et l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve de Maths II le 15 mai 2017. L&rsquo;\u00e9preuve de maths I est plus importante en terme de dur\u00e9e et de coefficient. En effet, elle dure 4 heures et son coefficient varie entre 2 et 12 suivant les \u00e9coles et les fili\u00e8res. La seconde \u00e9preuve dure 3 heures et son coefficient varie entre 2 et 8 suivant les \u00e9coles et les fili\u00e8res.<\/p><h4 style=\"text-align: justify\">Math\u00e9matiques I<\/h4><p style=\"text-align: justify\">L&rsquo;\u00e9preuve de maths I, quelle que soit la fili\u00e8re du candidat, est organis\u00e9e en plusieurs exercices ind\u00e9pendants qui couvrent une grande partie du programme de maths sp\u00e9. Les exercices demandent un raisonnement strat\u00e9gique, la\u00a0capacit\u00e9 de mod\u00e9liser un probl\u00e8me ainsi qu&rsquo;une ma\u00eetrise de la traduction des outils math\u00e9matiques. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves doivent faire preuve d&rsquo;initiative durant cette \u00e9preuve.
