Exercice 1. Choisissez l’indicateur temporel qui convient pour le temps du prétérit en anglais.

Exercice 3. Transformez les phrases suivantes au discours indirect

5. My father : « I want you to do that today ! »

9. My friend : « I waited the bus for 30 minutes. »
10. Anne : « I must leave now. »

Correction de l’exercice 3.

1. My mother asked me whether I had gone to the cinema the day before.
2. Mary said she was going to the beach the following day.
3. Mike said he had found a book two days before and asked me whether it was mine.
4.  Sarah said she had been living in New York for 10 years then.
5. My father ordered me to do that that day.
6. Paul told me he had been there that morning waiting for me.
7. Jack told us it might rain that night.
8. Bob said he had gone to Spain in 2005.
9. My friend told me she had waited the bus for 30 minutes.
