Exercice 1. Conjuguez au présent simple les verbes entre parenthèses.

Explications : pour le présent simple, il est nécessaire de bien identifier si le verbe a besoin ou non d’un auxiliaire (formes interrogatives et négatives) et s’il est conjugué ou non à la troisième personne du singulier.
À ce titre, attention aux énoncés 8, 9 et 10 qui ont des sujets qui peuvent être source de confusion : changing the world (8) et the one (9) équivalent tous deux à la troisième personne du singulier.
People (10) en revanche est ici un pluriel. C’est toujours un pluriel lorsque le terme désigne un ensemble d’individus, ce qui est son emploi le plus fréquent, mais il peut plus rarement être un singulier (a people) ou utilisé au pluriel avec -s (some peoples) lorsqu’il désigne un ou plusieurs peuples dans le sens d’ethnies (the British people, the German people, the Balkanic peoples).
N’hésitez pas à prendre un prof particulier d’anglais pour maîtriser le présent simple en anglais.
